What a fantastic effort for a club such as ours and a great way to cap off this exciting week. Rockhampton Bowls Club who were runners up last year, took out the title this year.

The little Bowls Club hidden in Chirnside Park is no longer. We are now out there – the Council, Bowls Australia, Bowls Victoria and our local community now know that we exist. Our hiding days are over. The best is yet to come.

Thanks again to everyone who has contributed over the years and to those who continue to contribute to make our club the great club that it is. We are on a journey and we will only get better as we continue to move forward with more involvement and increased participation.

Consider whether there is anything that you can contribute to make the club a better place. If you have any positive ideas please feel free to have a chat with myself or a member of the management team.

If you can spare some time we’d love some additional assistance with the bar roster, schools and community bowls programs. It’s not hard, lots of fun and very rewarding. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

It’s onwards and upwards @ The Hive. Lets continue to strive to make the Club an even better place and have another crack at the top award next year.
