Community Engagement - Diversity & Inclusion

19 Dec 2018 by Werribee Bowls Club

I am delighted to advise that our Club has recently been acknowledged by Bowls Australia for it’s progressive work in engaging with our diverse community. Check out the following that appear on the new Bowls Australia website/Facebook sites:

As we move into the new year and continually strive to increase participation at the Club additional volunteers will be required to assist with the various programs as it is these community based programs that will undoubtedly enhance our chances of obtaining an undercover green facility for the benefit of all. If you would like to assist, please have a word with Graham McKinnon or Rhonda Edwards.

Anyone wishing to assist with either the Schools or Junior Development Program (children under 18) will be required to hold a Working With Children permit which is easily attainable via http://www.workingwithchildren.vic.gov.au/ at no cost.

It’s onwards and upwards @ The Hive.
