ITALY vs AUSTRALIA DAY 2025

Our biggest bowls tournament of the year was played yesterday Sunday 6th April 2025 and attended by more than 160 bowlers plus VIPs and visitors. What a HUGE day! 😃

Italy vs Australia Day is six months of preparation and is well worth the invitation. A massive thank you to Col & Denise Thompson who have lovingly tended to this very popular calendar event for over 25 years, as well as to the many volunteers and the Brunato family who all aim to bring the best of Italy and Australia to a bowls game of 40 ends!

Thank you to the many bowlers who came from far and wide to play for Italy or Australia. And a special thank you to our special guests & VIPs who attended! And let’s not forget our Club’s angels in the kitchen who organised breakfast, a delicious 3-course lunch plus dinner for every single person! 😋

Oh! And who gets their name on the shield this year???
