Despite the cold deluge mid-morning, the weather fined up enough for the Try Bowls Day to go ahead as part of the Wyndham Learning Festival activities.

Over 70 people had registered with the large portion coming from the Wyndham Community and Education Centre. It was a great afternoon, and a great experience with the attendees loving their time on the greens.

Many thanks to Lesley and Rod for coordinating the event. And special thanks to the members who assisted them both today; Richard Lilly, Gary Horne, Laurie Helmling, Andrew Jelbart and Ian Bennett. It was so appreciated to have such support from members who were ready to share their tips with a large group of potential new bowlers.
