Members – We Need Your Help!

As we all know the number of people playing pennant bowls is decreasing year on year. The only way to reverse this trend is to get new people under the arch for the first time to learn to play – either competitive or social bowls. Everyone has to start somewhere. The more the merrier.

The Club is actively working within the community to increase participation however, each member also has a role to play. Why not encourage family members, neighbours, friends or colleagues to come along to the Try Bowls day and experience the fun that bowls provides?

Hopefully members will support this initiative to support the long term sustainability of our Club. If we do not continually work to increase participation over the long term who knows, our lovely greens may end up a car park or community vegetable patch and we are sure that no one wants to see that.
